Wheelchair Basketball is one of the most inclusive adaptive team sports. Athletes at all ability can play together. The sport has always had a strong showing in Wisconsin, with all of our teams consistently being ranked in or near the top 10 for decades.

The newly formed WASA Bucks Wheelchair Basketball Club is no exception. As the largest program in the country the WASA Bucks serve 70 athletes from kids to veterans, beginners to Paralympians, from 6-60 years old with physical disABILITIES. We're always looking to recruit more athletes for all our teams, which include:

Prep Junior Bucks (coed)
The Prep Junior Bucks welcome children age 6 - 14 (
beginners & advanced welcome) to adaptive sports. We aim to provide opportunities for all ages and skill levels. With the travel team, even some of our youngest get to compete at a high youth level. The team finished 3rd in the nation in 2016.

Varsity Junior Bucks (coed)
The Varsity Junior Bucks prepare young athletes (14-18 years old, beginners & advanced welcome) for Intercollegiate Wheelchair Sports Programs. We aim to provide all athletes with the ability to learn how to be successful as athletes and students. The team finished 7th in the nation in 2016.

Our women's program was launched 2015 and includes three Paralympians. It serves females 14-45 years old and is one of only 11 teams in the nation providing women and girls the opportunity to play on non-coed club teams. The team is the reigning NWBA Women’s Division National Champion.

Championship Division (coed)
The Championship Division - White team is a team that features seven Paralympians. The team finished 2nd in the nation in 2016.

Division II (coed)
The Division II team features two Paralympians and two Intercollegiate National Champions. This team plays in the newly formed competitive Division II league.

Division III (coed)
Our Division III team is led by experienced athletes and welcomes all beginners. Practices are tailored for everyone to learn basics and challenge themselves to the next level while having a lot of fun!
